Mother’s Circle exists to explore, support, and cheer on the experience of motherhood.
This is not a class, but a protected, supportive place to discuss the Big Things that swirl around in our head-space, or we witness in online spaces (where thoughtfulness and nervous system regulation may be lacking). It’s a place to meet with people who understand what you’re going through, and know how to witness you, without judgment.
As a facilitator, I’m interested in following the group’s interests. This is a dynamic experience that we are co-creating, together! We may talk about the identity shift from maiden to mother, parenting in the current political landscape, how we raise the next generation of boys/girls, and more. I’d love to hear what you’re processing in this season of parenthood.
If you’re interested in joining but have questions, please send me a message through the contact form. I will respond to every message personally.

Let’s just come out and say it: raising boys through the last gasps of patriarchy is heavy.
Every day, the headlines are bleak. Another powerful man is accused of abuse. Another school is traumatized by gun violence. Young boys are being red-pilled online. Billionaires are unapologetically flaunting their exploitation of the working class. Et cetera. Et cetera.
But amazing things are happening, too! Women are rising up. We are supporting each other more than ever. We are working to remember the old ways. There’s been a renewed celebration of what makes us unique — our softness, our protectiveness, our wisdom, our powers of creation and connection. We are embracing our witchiness. We are raising our voices. And we are not going back.
This brings about a necessary but difficult tension for mothers: where do our boys fit in? How do we uplift the feminine without destroying the masculine? How can we bring the outer world — and our inner worlds — back into balance?
We were never meant to do this alone, and fortunately, we don’t have to! Building community is our superpower.
Mother’s Circle is a safe space to process, be held, and be witnessed on the journey. We are all learning from each other, so all ages, stages, and expressions of motherhood are welcome here — from pregnancy to empty nesters; single, coupled, blended; cis, trans, nonbinary. (Babies not yet walking are also welcome.) Space will be limited to 10 participants, in order to preserve intimacy and time for sharing.

They do this by mobilizing resources, funding community-led projects, and providing direct education and support in Ecuador, Tanzania, Mexico, India, and South Africa. Rooted Postpartum acknowledges that we are meeting on the traditional, ancestral, and contemporary lands of the Kumeyaay and Luiseño people. We honor the Indigenous mothers who have nurtured this land for generations, and the women who’ve sat in circle for millennia. We pay respect to the elders, past and present, and honor their deep connection to the Earth Mother.

Every generation of parents tries to do better than the one before. For our generation, much of the work is in re-parenting — understanding, connecting with, and loving ourselves as children, in order to heal the wounds of the past and raise our little ones with clarity and intention. This is deep, inner work, and often difficult. And yet, we are never alone.
Please join us for an experience of community and sacred ceremony. This circle is intended for those journeying through pregnancy up to one year postpartum, and babies in arms are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided. In order to create an intimate, safe environment, space is limited.

Circle is a sacred place to be seen, heard, and held in a community that truly “gets” you.
This is a safe space for anyone journeying through pregnancy up to one year postpartum. Babies are absolutely welcome as our honored guests! Feel free to feed, diaper, and move about the space whenever you need to. Tears are honored here, joy is shared, and showering is optional—seriously, come exactly as you are!
Together, we’ll explore the highs and lows of transitioning into parenthood, and celebrate the birth of a new year, our babies, and ourselves as mothers.
